Robert Attridge is the captain of the Agincourt and one of the four original crew members. His promotion to Captain prior to taking command of the orca made him one of the youngest captains in Cosfor.
Even though he is relatively new to the rank of captain, Robert has a relaxed style of command and is confident in his authority and the loyalty of his crew. He prizes the opportunity of his crew to speak freely and is tolerant of behaviour that more rigid senior officers might classify as insubordination.
An ability to be tactically innovative, combined from his strong belief in leading from the front and by example, together with his excellent physical health, made Robert one of the first names on the list of possible orca captains when the Normandy project was in creation.
